So today is Sunday. We got up around 530 and had breakfast chow. Then we had IED training from 8-10. Then it was time to get back into shorts-it is way too hot (yesterday they said it got to 108)! Then it was lunch chow. After that, we went to the PX and I got some more things. Then we went to USO. I am a great supporter of them. They have a program where you pick a book-you read it on a camera-you have 20 minutes-and then they mail the book and dvd back home so the kids can see it. We can only do one a day. So today I read a Dr. Seuss Book to Barrett and tomorrow I will read a book to the other kids.
After that, I am now on the computer for an hour-but the connection is really slow. Then it will be chow time again and shower and then reading. I already finished my first book and am on page 60 of the next book.
They told us today that the earliest we will be flying to Iraq is on Thursday-we got bumped. It could be even later than that-so we will just enjoy our time here in Kuwait.
I love the clothes that Linds bought Barrett-I'm glad the camera is working.
