Friday in Kuwait

To catch you up:

So this morning we got up around 4 am because the buses came to pick us up to take us to the range. We had to fire 10 rounds to make sure our weapon worked. Then it was back for some chow. I have to admit the food here is pretty good. It was a hot day today-107 degrees. I read from my book and did search a words. Then I had to go to an administration briefing for about a a half hour. Tomorrow we don't have anything in particular planned-another day. I want to get this done and move out-because it is quite boring and gives a lot of people time to sulk and think about home. I know I will be busy when I get to Iraq and will help time to go by faster. On Sunday we are supposed to have 3 hours of additional training from 8-11 am and then Monday I have admin training from 8-2. We are scheduled to fly on Tuesday.

So far I have talked to my beautiful wife everyday! That has been great.

I think I am pretty much over the jet lag.

I really miss hanging out with my wife when we get home from work-taking walks and watching TV-but we will get through this-she is very supportive of me as well as the rest of my great family and I really appreciate it.

I guess that is all I can think of-you can always ask questions of what you want to know. Time for dinner chow. Talk to you all later.

Mike
